DESCRIPTION:

At 10:30 a.m. Pick up from Todo Turismo offices in Uyuni or the agreed Hotel.

We begin our tour visiting the Train Cemetery, a remembrance of the first locomotives in Bolivia. Then we will visit the small town of Colchani, where we will observe the rustic way of producing table salt.  While entering to the Uyuni Salt Flats, we will see the «Eyes of the Salar» and the piles of salt (pyramids of salt), later we will visit the first hotel built with blocks of salt, the latter being the only construction allowed within the Great Salar.  “Playa Blanca” hotel, nowadays, it is a place of passage for visitors since it is an abandoned hotel.  We will have lunch in the same place and after lunch, we will continue the trip to the central point of the Salar which is the Incawasi Island where we will walk a path in the middle of ancient giant cacti and coral rock formations.  From the top of this Island you will be able to appreciate the immensity of the Salar de Uyuni all around you, and something you definitely have to do here is take photos with the great perspective where people look so small and funny. After a good time of recreation in the place, the journey will continue towards the shores of the Majestic Salar to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the sunset with its reddish, orange, yellow and pink colors painted in the sky. Finally, we will appreciate the  Uyuni Salt Flat at night, where the stars, the moon and the sky will be seen closer, a unique spectacle never imagined, return to Uyuni at 7:30 p.m.

• The refund requests up to 3 days before the start date will proceed with the refund of 70%
• 2 to 1 days before the start date – No refund.
• All cancellations or changes of reservations must be requested directly with Todo Turismo, and not with the operators and / or hotels

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• For this travel you will need: Sunglass UV protection, sunscreen (SPF) 50, hat, warm clothes; during the rainy season waterproof clothing and water boots.
• If you are sick carry all your medications on hand.
• The accommodation at the refuges is in shared rooms
