ITINERARY:
A classic, the route from the beginnings of visitors to the Uyuni Salt Flats. In this tour the visitor will appreciate the sunrise in the Geysers of Sol de Mañana, volcanoes that are in full activity, it is a unique experience at the time the sun rises. |
Day 01 – Uyuni Salt Flats
Pick up at 10:30 from your hotel or Todo Turismo offices. Visit Train cemetery, a memory of the first Bolivian railway; continue towards to Colchani, this village survives on the rudimentary extraction of salt and salt crafts. The visitor can appreciate rustic houses built with blocks of salt, roofed with sturdy Andes grass. Visit to the first Hotel de Sal (this hotel for ecological reasons it doesn′t works). Discover the biggest salt desert in the World (6.575 mi²), a truly impressive experience, Take your time to visit Incahuasi Island, heart of Uyuni Salt flat, walk among thousands giant cactus located in the heart of the salt flat. In the afternoon we will cross the Uyuni Salt Flat, arrival to San Juan. Dinner and lodging at basic hostel, share rooms.
Day 02 – Deserts and minor lagoons
Breakfast at 07:00 a.m. Cross Chiguana salt flat, observe smoke coming from still active volcano “Ollague” visit lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda and Ciarcota, habitat of innumerable flamencos, in the afternoon we will enter to Eduardo Avaroa National Park, continue through colorful desert Siloli, visit Árbol de la Piedra (stone tree) and Colorada Lagoon and contemplate flamingos Andean, Chilean and James until you reach Huayllajara. Dinner and lodging at basic hostel, share rooms.
Day 03 – Eduardo Abaroa Reserve
We leave the lodging at 05:00 a.m. enjoy the Sol de Mañana Geysers and feel the geometric force; take a thermal bath in Termas de Polques, surreal scenery of Dali’s Valley, see Laguna Verde (green lagoon) at the feet of imposing Licancabur volcano. After lunch return to Uyuni, we will visit the Valley of Rocks; the towns of Villamar, Alota, Culpina and San Cristobal known as «Authentic Villages». We will arrive to Uyuni approximately at 6:00 p.m.

BOOKING CHANGES AND REFUNDS:
- You can make changes up to 48 hours before the departure of your tour at no cost.
- The refund requests up to 3 days before the start date will proceed with the refund of 70%
- 2 to 1 days before the start date – No refund.
- All cancellations or changes of reservations must be requested directly with Todo Turismo, and not with the operators and / or hotels
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- For this travel you will need: Sunglass UV protection, sunscreen (SPF) 50, hat, warm clothes; during the rainy season waterproof clothing and water boots.

- The accommodation at the refuges is in shared rooms
- Some hostels offer private rooms, this change has an additional charge, we let your criteria the room change, we recommend changing room and pay directly at the hostel.
